If you over-wear your soft contact lenses this might happen to you.
To the naked eye this looks a little larger than a black spot on the contact lens.
Magnified larger and larger you can see the fungus.
The contact lenses has been cut along the fungus line so you can see how it grows toward the eye.
Failure to replace contact lenses as directed may result in fungus growth on your contact lenses
and let go long enough may attach to your cornea.
No I am not telling you that it will happen every time, but once is once to much.
If fungus attaches to your cornea you will have damage to the cornea or worse yet loss of the eye.
